“When [my morning carers] arrived, I was in a bad state and in a lot of pain, they were able to deal with the situation so well…I feel that they deserve the highest praise..I am truly grateful for all their hard work”
-Mrs W., Eastbourne Home Care Client
We are now recruiting for staff within our home care team in Eastbourne.
Pentlow Community Care seek Health Care Assistants to work in the community helping clients at home to remain independent.
Carers at all levels including NVQ qualified, to provide personal care in clients own homes.
We develop positive, caring relationships with our clients, treating them with dignity, respect and kindness.
We regularly receive comments and praise for our carers, but every now and then we like to share these with you.
Most recently we heard from client Mrs K. She is obviously delighted with her regular carer Bethany who she describes as 'excellent, very competent, and pays special attention'. Recently when Mrs K. had a family upset she says Bethany stayed with her to help, and was a tower of strength.
After the event Mrs K. wanted to let us know.
Our care team are out and about in the Eastbourne and Bexhill areas daily, offering our service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
If you or a loved one needs some help, reassurance or just companionship at home, please call us, and we are sure one of our able team will be able to help.
Carer Mark Watson who works for Pentlow Community in Eastbourne has been praised by relatives for outstanding service.
Mark is a community carer, helping elderly clients to retain their independence in their own homes, by providing required care and assistance.
The relative said, in a letter to the manager, " I woul recommend Pentlow Community care to anyone, based on Marks performance". They went on to say "He is a credit to Pentlow care and your company as a whole"
We were delighted to be at the recent Over 50s show in Eastbourne at The Winter Gardens.
The event offered a wide range of stalls for the public to peruse, from holidays to care at home, fancy breads and olives to bracelets. What a mix! Throughout the day there were also demonstrations of fitness, healthy lifestyles, yoga and dancing -all in all it was a fun and informative day for the visitors.
Pictured at the launch of Bexhill’s Senior Person of the Year Award, is MP Greg Barker with Liz Young, general manager of Ashridge Court Care Centre and Barry Lambert a Director of Canford Healthcare - which own Ashridge Court and four other care centres in the south.

I am very grateful for the help you have provided. I do not know how I would have coped after my operation without it. We have been impressed by the friendliness and capabilities of your staff.
