Pictured at the launch of Bexhill’s Senior Person of the Year Award, is MP Greg Barker with Liz Young, general manager of Ashridge Court Care Centre and Barry Lambert a Director of Canford Healthcare - which own Ashridge Court and four other care centres in the south.
The award’s scheme will run for six weeks in the Bexhill Observer, urging readers to nominate the Senior Person who has gone the extra mile for them or the community. Ashridge Court and community care are sponsoring the award for the second year running.
It couldn’t be easier to enter - simply tell us, in no more than 100 words; what makes your Senior Person so special?
MP Greg Barker will present the winning Senior Person with the Award in March. The winner will also scoop an all expenses day trip to London for them and a guest, to include a fabulous lunch, a specially organised visit to the Houses of Parliament plus train and taxi transport there and home.
Everyone who puts in a nomination will also be in with a chance of winning a £100 gift card that can be spent at over 17,000 retailers, nationwide.
Nominations can be made by literally anyone – a friend, a colleague, a neighbour, family member or even nominate yourself!
Nominations must be for people aged 65+ and can be made via the online entry form on the Bexhill Observer Website
or send postal entries to ‘Bexhill’s Senior Person Awards’, The Bexhill Observer, Woods House, Telford Road, St Leonards-on-Sea, TN38 9LZ.
